Formed in 2007, Western Canada’s DICK CASH plays “roots blasted” rock & rockabilly in the edgy tradition of Link Wray, Johnny Cash and Gene Vincent. The band is comprised of vocalist / guitarist Ryan E. Hynd, bassist Torin Opper and drummer Bob Schwartz.
Their debut offering “Memphis Radio” was released in 2008, which included eight original songs and three covers; the album was recorded “live in the studio” at Baker Street Studios in North Vancouver.
DICK CASH keep a steady show schedule, having played 100+ shows throughout their home province of British Columbia, Canada. Live highlights include The Yale (Vancouver), 2010 Winter Olympic Games – Edgewater Mainstage, Fraser Valley World of Wheels Car Show (Abbotsford), Hot Rod Show and Shine (New Westminster) and Trev Deeley “Harley Davidson” 105th Anniversary.
The band will continue it’s busy live schedule throughout 2011, with a new album to follow for 2012.
